Forrest fucking Gump!!!

I hate that film. It is an emberassment to the human race!

(though I don't think its THE worst film ever, that likely goes to something racist, or made by the christian network--unless we take into account how widespread the film is.)

I mean, its actually so bad, thinking of how emberassing it is to the human race makes it funny.

I mean, imagine we find a species, the Aurorons. And the Volons have one movie they love above all else--It's about an idiot, who gets lucky and only follows orders. That's it.

And the smart guy that questions crap--and people who oppose the government--they are all bad.

No its the peanut who does nothing but gets glorified for being obedient.


Now you're telling me, that you wouldn't think maybe a bit less of the Aurorons right now? Are you telling me this wouldn't be true, even if the movie was a DRAMA, that made them SYMPATHETIC and patriotic and superstitious?


Cause I sure as hell would. Especially since they glorify violence as well. I would order death star to Aurora ASAP.


The fact is it shows what these people admire. Was it moral courage? Was it the quest for knowledge? Was it a powerful triumph that took great effort and cunning?

No it was dumb, or in this case retarded luck.

I mean we even use the word "Gump." It sounds like a cartoon character---Forrest Gump.

We admire a Gump. We actually glorify a being named Gump. A brain-damaged individual named Gump---for his luck.

And elect a stupid president to boot, president Gump (who is believe or not likely smarter and more freethinking then forrest gump.)


This film just makes me wonder what the hell it is all these meds are doing to old people.
